Planning for 2017!

We officially have three weeks left in 2016! Can you you believe it? There is no greater time to being preparing for the new year with a great new planner.

This year was my first time using a planner EVER! I turned 30 and my brain turned to mush. I was overbooking myself and forgetting appointments, etc. I said it was time to get my life together and write things down. After trying out the planner life, I am in it full fledge. I have different color pens and markers, stickers, washi tape - YOU NAME IT!

This year I wanted a bit more out using a planner and did some extensive research before I decided on my course of action. In 2017, I will be using two planners - a goal planner and a date planner. My date planner I just grabbed one at Marshall's on the low. For my goal planner, I put in some time on google for a few weeks searching then I found the right one for me -- Lara Casey's Powersheets

2017 Powersheets!

Goal Planner

I knew I needed a planner that could help me make practical and purposeful goals. I also need one with the appropriate prompts to stay on top of task to help accomplish those goals. Lara Casey's Powersheets are amazing! My planner came in the mail last week and flipping through the pages I am impressed, excited and a bit overwhelmed. Before you get to the monthly planning pages, there appears to be a therapy session in the beginning. LOL! My plan is to start this work this week, probably on my birthday! If you want to take on practical goal setting I highly recommend this planner! This brand even offers webinars to help with use of the planner for maximum usage. I am ready to dig deep to crush 2017!

Date Planner

Erin Condren Life Planner

For 2016 I used the Erin Condren Life Planner. It was great for keeping organized with appointment, deadlines, and parties. That was really it. I hear for the 2017 Life Planner they added in more goal setting, but it doesn't appear to be as intense or the specific as the Powersheets. I enjoyed the customization and interchangeable covers for this planner.

Combo Planner

Volt Planner

If you are looking for one planner that has both goal setting and date planning, then the 2017 Volt Planner is for you. One of the reasons I did not order the Volt Planner was because it was a bound book. However, I have got to admit it is a clean classic look for a planner. I just like spiraled planners. This planner not only features weekly and monthly calendar views, it has journal prompts, 30 day challenges, yearly goals, and weekly goals. Someone please order this and let me know how you like it!

Planner with a Hint of JESUS!

Best is Yet to Come Planner

When you need to get your life together and need the Lord involved, then the Best Has Yet to Come Planner is the planner for you. It has monthly and weekly calendar views along with some goal setting and gratitude prompts. The bonus of this well designed planner is that every page has a bible quote on it. Can't go wrong with getting your life together with this one! Be sure to share with me your monthly praise report, yup that's in there too!

liveWell Planner

Best of Everything Planner

I just found out about the liveWELL Planner last week and it seems to cover all most everything you need in life. There is a travel log, monthly bill tracker, gift list, yearly planning sheets, and monthly goal trackers. The design of the weekly calendar spreads are great. This planner has a daily habit tracker for those who are trying to make new commitments and habits. They also carry fitness and meal planners. They are a one stop shop! The site even offers videos to help you get started with your planner.

So I have my planners and I am ready to go and kick ass in 2017! What planner are you using for 2017, let me know in the comments!
